From DUSK till dawn With the release ofDUSKonto Steam Early Access last month, old-school first-person shooter fans have been in heaven. The game captures the glory of games likeQuakeandDoomwhile providing modern compatibility and startling creativity. What more could you possibly want? How else will this game expand? It’ll cost $20. This quick transition out of theaters and into homes is an example of Paramount following recent trends in light of the global coronavirus quarantines....

3.6 is coming today [Update:The update is now live worldwide. Check out the full patch notes below!] The Witcher 3‘s Switch port is basically a miracle. Sure there are some rough parts (most notably crashes in big hub areas and long load times), but the fact that the powers that be were able to fit it onto one cart without forcing a gigantic download is fantastic. Shoutout to the Switch for still allowing folks to play physical media without installing the entire game....

The content will be the same One of my problems with the campaign leading up toTitanfallwas the lack of any real information on the game. It took months to find out any details, and even then we only learned about the vast majority of its features a month before launch — everything leading up to that was just nebulous hype. That seems to be the strategy yet again withthe delayed Xbox 360 port, as we’re just now finding out a mere few days before its release that this version will run “above 30 frames per second” — which basically means “not 60 FPS” in PR speak....

Back to the city The Apple TV hasn’t exactly set the world of gaming on fire, but with therecent release ofTransistorto the platform, I’m officially more interested in it than ever. Like 1% interested, but still. This version of the game has been designed to be played with the Siri remote and is a universal purchase with other iOS versions of the game. So if you already own it for your iPhone or iPad, you’ll get this version for free (saved game data will even carry over between devices)....

Last Bloodsucker Standing In a surprising announcement, Swedish studio Sharkmob has revealed it’s currently at work on an all-new battle royale title set within theVampire: The Masqueradeuniverse.
