3D Realms bids us adieu

Today I am celebrating my mother, as it is the day ordained by Hallmark to do such things, but I thought I’d take a moment to come by anddepress everyone. 3D Realms has saidits final goodbye. A post on their Web site has the above photo with the words, “Thanks for being fans and for all your support.” Short and sweet, and a little disappointing. Luckily, they later updated the photo with the names of everyone in the photo, so the post looks a bit more robust....

Assassin’s Creed IV will take at least 50 hours to 100%

Upwards to even 80 hours Assassin’s Creed IVit truly an open world experience. There’s so much to do, a ton of things to explore, and it’s all happening in a near seamless sandbox. I had to know just how long it would take a player to 100% the game, and as I feared, I don’t have nowhere near the time to please my OCD nature with this one. I asked Ashraf Ismail, director onAssassin’s Creed IV,how long it would take and he told me that “one guy in the office actually did it two weeks ago for the first time....
