Longer than the Wii U hopefully Nintendo telling us that they’ll support their systems is nothing new. They spouted their undying love for the Wii U for several years, and even tried to salvage it with a handful of great first-party games near the end, but it just wasn’t enough and they dropped it like a sack of potatoes. PlayingLairthis week was the first time that I can say the gameplay actually was good enough to stand up next to its graphical dominance. Every other time I’ve played the game, the SIXAXIS controls and chaos ofLairmade the title damn near impossible to play. Now, however, I found myself gliding through the air with ease and taking out enemies and ships with no problem whatsoever. While others at Sony’s Gamers Day complained of issues with a tracking arrow and control problems, I actually had no problem picking up and playing the game....

Sony has announced that it’s launching an MMO inside Home today called Sodium One. Players can enter in to the Sodium “Teleporter” found in Home’s Central Plaza to play along with the kind-of-but-not-really free-to-play title. Called a “social gaming environment,” you’ll be able to battle against other players in objective-based mini-games, as well as larger arcade-style games and other community events. So like I said, it’s free to play until you have to pay....
