Awards last night in Las Vegas, andunlike last year, the game of the year selection isn’t bound to shock. It wasOverwatch! Other highlights includeUncharted 4: A Thief’s EndandInside, both of which also took home multiple awards, and both of which are also generally thought of as excellent games. Even though it’s only February, I feel like I’m already so far into 2017, so it’s nice to take a moment to reflect on last year....

Answering the Call is the first quest you can complete inPalia’sElderwood expansion, and it will introduce you to the new region. To begin the quest, you’ll have to make a fair amount of progress if you’ve just started playing the game. Once you’ve cleared the main story quests (the main vault quests and four additional ones), you’ll gain access to the Elderwood region. Hey paisanos! Jesus Lopez has something special on their hands: a fan game based onThe Super Mario Bros. Super Show. You know, that old cartoon starring Lou Albano that ran during Saturday mornings in 1989 that had both an official rap and the song“Do the Mario?” The footage clocks in at just under two minutes and showcases a very simplistic level, but it’s pretty great. Mario looks exactly how he should in an HD/modern rendition of theSuper Showcartoon, and that run animation is brilliant....

Shield up! Streum On Studio is onto something cool withSpace Hulk: Deathwing, its squad-based shooter adaptation of theSpace Hulkboard game. There’s a sense of weight and intimidation to the hulking Terminator armor that other games have sorely missed, and I love those sudden, surprising bursts of speed.
