Is Predecessor down? Server status and maintenance explained

you’re able to get up close and personal with every inch of MOBA action inPredecessor, but the moment-to-moment gameplay won’t matter much if the servers are down. Predecessoris a fast-paced MOBA title that takes you deeper into the map with an intriguing third-person view, allowing you to see what your hero sees. I feel as though this makes it much more engaging than top-down entries in the genre because you’re constantly on edge, aware that you need to be watching all around your hero to avoid giving a kill to the enemy team....

Man, I wish I were playing Crypt of the NecroDancer right now

It’s out on Steam Early Access Are you playingCrypt of the NecroDancer? You should be playingCrypt of the NecroDancer. It’s a rhythm-based roguelike in which you hop around dungeons to the beat of music, a novel mechanic that ends up being enjoyable — not burdensome, as it might appear in trailers — and keeps the game feeling action-oriented despite theRogueinfluences. And the soundtrack? Quite possibly my favorite music from Danny Baranowsky to date (though you can playNecroDancerto your own music too — Daft Punk’s “Face to Face” works well)....

Having been raised on hardcore platformers and having spent hours analyzing iframes and combos in action games, I’m happy when something puts up a fight and gives me a challenge. If there’s an optional easy mode available so someone else can enjoy the same experience with me, it doesn’t magically negate the fun I just had....
