This looks interesting
It takes a lot for me to get excited about a Kickstarter campaign, andtheLobodestroyoproject(which has just added the Wii U to its core list of platforms) has my attention. The game is billed as a “retro action adventure game inspired by N64-era collect-a-thon platformers,” and “90s Rare” is also namedropped. One backer reward even includes a faux Nintendo 64 cart with a code for the game.
The creators also have stretch goals for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports, but the main goal of PC, Mac, Linux, Ouya and Wii U seems much more attainable. All in all this looks like a pretty interesting project despite the rough edges, so I hope we get to see the finished product at some point.
