Ultron Marvel Rivals abilties
Ultron’s abilities and kit focus onsummoning drones to heal his alliesandunleash devastating damage against opponents. His full skill set was showcased inhis official trailer, so we fully know what all of his unique abilities do.
Ultron has six different abilities you can use during battle, most of which both heal and deal damage at the same time. He’s also got a few other special skills, though, so here’s a full breakdown of his kit.

Ultron’sEncephalo-Rayfunctions as his primary attack, allowing him to unleash a deadly burning energy beam. This ray only deals damage and doesn’t heal. Most Strategists’ primary abilities heal, like Dagger and Invisible Woman’s main skills, but Ultron’s doesn’t. This may seem a bit confusing since his ultimate move that uses Encephalo-Rays can both heal and do damage, but his primary ability with a single Encephalo-Ray cannot.
Imperative: FirewallandImperative: Patchwork together to help Ultron protect and heal his teammates. You can use Imperative: Patch to summon a drone and have it stick to one ally, similar to Luna Snow’s Share the Stage skill, and then use Imperative: Firewall to summon additional drones for the rest of the team. The Imperative: Patch target gets the most healing, but all others nearby get health restoration, too.

Ultron is the first Strategist who can fly using hisDynamic Flightability. Cloak & Dagger and Rocket Raccoon can hover briefly, but no Strategist can truly fly, so Ultron is a powerful new pick for this ability. HisAlgorithm Correctionpassive move also allows him to fall slowly, extending the time he can stay in the air. With these two skills combined, he’s got great mobility and won’t be taken out easily.
His final ability isRage of Ultron, a daunting ultimate move where he summons drones to fire Encephalo-Rays. These rays can heal his allies and damage his enemies, making it a flexible move for any combat situation.

Overall, Ultron’s Strategist skills seem to be fairly similar to units like Adam Warlock and Loki. Healing is certainly a key part of his skillset, but it’s not his primary focus, as many of his moves position him as a strong damage-dealing force.
Ultron Team-Up in Marvel Rivals
Ultron is launching with one Team-Up, which is theStark Protocolcollaboration withIron Man. With this Team-Up, Ultron gains access to a powerful Uni-Beam laser he can use to strike down enemies and heal allies at the same time.
What role is Ultron in Marvel Rivals?
Ultron was officially confirmed as aStrategistwith the release of his official trailer on May 22. Although this is his official role, many of his abilities are focused on damage output, so he feels a bit like a Strategist-Duelist hybrid, similar to how Mister Fantastic feels like a Duelist-Vanguard hybrid.
