This month, anew Kingdom Heartsgame is coming out! Wait, what? Yes, I’m serious.
The crazy thing is no one really knows about it outside of the most hardcore fans.Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologuewill drop on January 12, and in addition to providing remasters ofDream Drop Distance(the 3DS one), andX [chi](the mobile one), it’ll also come withFragmentary Passage, a continuation of Birth by Sleep and a demo of sorts forKingdom Hearts 3. Hey, this isn’t anything new with Japanese companies!
But as I was preparing for the review, I started to get really curious — how many of you out there are actually aware of what this confusing ass title actually is? Is Square Enix onto something with their algebraic nomenclature, in the sense that folks will actually pay attention to their games? Or is it just more confusing nonsense that has turned into white noise (probably)?
