Dragon Valley from Battlefield 2 returns
EA announced a new bit of free DLC for 2013’sBattlefield 4,calledLegacy Operations. The DLC was shaped bya community votethat took place almost a year ago, whereBattlefield 4fans were asked which map they’d like to see return the most, and the winning vote was the popularBattlefield 2mapDragon Valley.
Dragon Valley 2015includes plenty of space for vehicular combat, lots of destructible structures, and includes some gameplay tweaks from theBattlefield 2version. The trailer, which you can watch up top, makes the map look absolutelymassive, so expect this to be a popular new addition.

Legacy Operationswill be releasing on Xbox One, PS4, and PC alongside the Holiday Update at the end of the year. At the moment,Dragon Valleyis the only thing announced for it, however EA has said it will be talking about the DLC more in the coming weeks so it might not be the only thing included.
Unfortunately, it won’t be coming to last-gen platforms. EA claims this is due to the sheer size of the map.

Just to reiterate because it’s incredible: EA, voted the worst company in the US for multiple years, has releasedfreeDLC based on a community vote for a game that came out two years ago. Good job, EA. Well bloody done.
