Banoi is now High Definition(er)
There are too many metaphors to make about a zombie game coming back to life just a scant few years after its original release, so I’ll do my best to refrain from here on out. No promises, though.Dead Islandand its expansionRiptidewill be packaged into one sewn-together cadaver called theDead Island Definitive Collection. Both games will have improved textures, lighting, and framerate. There will also be a sidescrolling beat-’em-up/endless runner calledRetro Revenge, which you may remember Kylementioning last month.
The announcement trailer claims that this is “the ultimate zombie game series,” which amuses me when Techland’s ownDying Lightis vastly superior (though I admit the tropical island setting was fun). According toBest Buy, the remastered collection will run you $39.99. If you’re ready to return to Banoi,Dead Island Definitive Collectionwill be available for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 31.
