Bungie is on board
As the Google Stadia Connect presentation was coming to a close, the tech giant teased “one more big surprise,” and it’sDestiny 2related. Basically, now that developer Bungie has jettisoned themselves from Activision, they have control over where they go: as of today, they’re choosing to go to Stadia.
Google confirms that they’ll actually be partnering up with Bungie to really makeDestiny 2a marquee game on the platform. Players can transfer their Guardian (character) from another platform so you don’t have to start from scratch. If you pony up for the “Founder’s Edition” of Stadia you’ll get “the fullDestiny 2experience” (base game, all expansions, all season pass content). Note: this confirms that Bungie is going the exact same route they did withForsakenas they are with their newShadowkeepexpansion, with a big content drop followed by a season pass.

That Google Stadia Founder’s joint is $129 (you get a Chromecast Ultra, Stadia controller, a three month sub to Stadia Pro plus a “guest pass for a friend” for three months, the ability to reserve your Stadia username, andDestiny 2), and it’savailable to pre-order now.
