‘No plans’
If you’ve been wanting some new classes inHearthstoneto shake things up, you’re probably out of luck for the time being. When asked point blank on Twitter by a fan, producer Ben Brode noted that “we aren’t planning on any new classes at this time.”
For now, you’ll have to stick with the nine included classes, and optionally make use of the aesthetic changes that are available for $10. While adding a new class would shake up the meta considerably and take quite a bit to balance, I hope they do add at least one over time — at the very least, to have full parity withWorld of Warcraft.
