In one of the more pleasant surprises of the Nintendo press conference,Mario Galaxy 2was announced. The trailer they showed looked a whole lot like the firstMario Galaxy, with the added bonus of Yoshi. If that isn’t enough to sell you (I mean, come on, it’s f’in Yoshi!), there’s also this sweet looking drill thing that had Mario burrowing straight through the planets to drill people in the face.
Mario Galaxyis one of my favorite Wii games, so the annoucement of a second one makes me pretty happy. I’m still waiting for Reggie to make his BIG annoucement (and I’m going to cry if he doesn’t), but this is helping me feel less sad about the whole thing.
