A whopping 75% PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 release in the third quarter of this year will come from Activision Blizzard and Electronic Arts, says a new Research and Markets report. That’s 21 titles for EA and 19 for Activision. They say that the reason for this is that both of these software giants are actually loading up in both the third and fourth quarter, while most other companies hold the good stuff unti the fourth for the holiday season.
Even in that fourth quater, the two will account for about 40% of the releases, saysGamasutra.
