The ‘Link’ add-on enhances online play
Readers know that I’ve been clamoring for an international release ofFantasy Lifefor quite some time. As aroaring successin Japan, Level-5 has already seen fitto update the game, calling the enhancementFantasy Life Link!
Most of the upgrades are online-centric, adding four player online co-op, a new Link Mode (messaging), an all-new website with game statistics, and a brand new island with more content. The upgrade will launch on July 25th for 4,980 yen. If you own the original, you can upgrade for a 2,000 yen fee.
I’m hoping that Level-5 is saturating the Japanese market before announcing a localization, leaving us with the enhancedLinkversion as a base package. Between this andAnimal Crossing: New Leaf, the 3DS is the place to be for life simulation games.
