As part of the ever-expanding ACA Neo Geo range, Hamster have released colourfulFatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory, on PS4 and Xbox One.
The title, developed and released by SNK back in 1995, once again features the Bogard brothers, Terry and Andy, step back into to the ring with familiar faces Joe Higashi and Mai Shiranui as well as newcomers Franco Bash and Blue Mary. The game introduced a “sway” move which can be used to dodge projectiles, and also incorporated a third plane into the game’s multi-plane format.
Fatal Fury 3had improved sprites and stages from the previous games, as well as tweaked gameplay. This release was a new dawn for great SNK fighters, which would lead to the fantastic KOF releases, and titles such asReal Bout 2andGarou: Mark of the Wolves, two of the finest 2D fighters ever made.
