It’s not very often that an epic award-winning game comes up at a truly incredible price, and when they do, you should definitely take advantage. Epic sagaFinal Fantasy XVI is one such game, and it’s going for cheap on Amazon right now.
Usually, the PlayStation 5 version ofFFXVIsells on Amazon for around $50, but it’scurrently available for just under $25, making it half-price and the cheapest it has ever been on the shopping site. There’s no known end date for this flash price drop, but you should probably make the most of it and snap it up if you haven’t already.
Think about it, with 30 hours of gameplay at a minimum, that’s less than $1 per hour ofstellar entertainment. That’s not taking into account the fact that you can spend upto 100 hours exploring, battling, collecting, and simply enjoying the surroundings inFFXVI. I can’t think of a single thing that provides that much entertainment so cheaply.
In case you’ve been living under a rock sinceFinal Fantasy XVIwas originally released back in June 2023, or even if you’ve been waiting for a good price (I can almost guarantee that it won’t go lower than this any time soon), then you’ve missed out on a truly incredible experience.
There’s a reason thatFFXVI has won multiple awards, including the Award for Excellence at the Japanese Game Awards 2024, Best Lead Performer (for Ben Starr as Clive), and a couple for the incredible musical score.
Sadly, this deal is only for players wantingFinal Fantasy XVI on PlayStation 5. For other platforms, the price is still sitting at the regular $50. On the plus side, if you’ve just taken the plunge and treated yourself to a PlayStation 5 Pro, then you’re in for one hell of a ride withFFXVI. The graphics are gorgeous at the most basic level, with vibrant colors contrasting against the darkest of dark backgrounds (and storylines).
