Splatfest

Nicalis has another retro-style platformer coming up for Nintendo Switch (and also PC), but this one has an aesthetic you don’t see quite so often. It’s made to look, sound, and play like a Game Boy title.

Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-Sanis a mouthful. It’s also the story of a “pacifist octopus” who, after saving a woman from drowning, is blessed the ability to survive out of water. He can spit ink to turn enemies into platforms and wear special hats that grant new abilities. Looks cute all around.
