Many of you have a 3DS reserved at GameStop, and I’m sure you’re more than ready for the March 27th launch. The retailer has sent along the details of their launch event as well as information on demos of the new system from Nintendo.
On March 27th at 12:01 a.m. 800 company stores will open for those frothing at the mouth for the 3DS Another 2,400 stores will open at 9:00 a.m. to serve gamers.Use this pageto find out what time your local store will open.
They’re holding a trade-in promotion for launch day. Bring in your old DS Lite, DSi or DSi XL and get up to $100 credit toward your new 3DS.
If you’re somehow still on the fence with the 3DS, GameStop will hold a demo event at their stores on April 2nd, from noon through 6 p.m. Attendees can share their experience on GameStop.com and earn the chance to win a Nintendo 3DS and a $500 GameStop gift card.
