Gears of 4!
I’ve only been a staff writer for a little over a month and I’m already tired of season passes. Why does every game require one? When something likeLego Batman 3gets a season pass, you know there are problems with the industry.
Tangent aside,Gears of War 4is getting a season pass and it has content. Oh man does it have content! I forgot the multiplayer worked off of a card system similar toHalo 5‘s spartan REQ packs, but this DLC will certainly remind you of it.
Originally, a Gear Pack was intended to come with the pass. Now, it has been replaced with something called a “Starter Air Drop.” This will hold boosters for Horde mode, Versus, Operations, and an Elite pack. It comes out to around 85 cards (what a deal!).
Along with all of this digital cards, the season pass also contains the VIP Vintage Pack. That comes with skins for weapons, a new character, and permanent access to all of the extra maps (of which there are 24 planned). You’ll also have access to a developer playlist that will basically let you play test the new stuff before it releases.
All of that goodness for $50; how could one pass that up? Oh, I have a few good answers to that, but I’m tired of yelling. I’ll just let Marcus explain it withthis clip. My main question is how did Microsoft miss out on titling the gamesGears of 4?
