Horizon Forbidden Westis Guerrilla Games’ follow-up to 2017’sHorizon Zero Dawn, once again following Aloy as she ventures across a North American continent filled with dinosaur-alike machines. It wassupposed to arrive sometime in 2021, thoughno release date was announcedat the recentHorizon Forbidden WestState of Play in May.

In aJune interviewover on the PlayStation blog, Hulst said ofHorizon Forbidden Westthat he thought the team was on track to launch this coming holiday season. “But that isn’t quite certain yet, and we’re working as hard as we can to confirm that to you as soon as we can.”
Sony Santa Monica Studio also confirmed in June that the nextGod of Wartitle was beingpushed back to 2022 as well, though no specific window was given. “We remain focused on delivering a top-quality game while maintaining the safety and wellbeing of our team, creative partners, and families,” read the studio’s statement.
