With OST chips on hand, you’re able to visit the OS Tuning section of the garage and invest in some valuable upgrades. These include bonuses to various damage types, as well as extra defenses or added HP recovery from repair kits. You can also grab a Core Expansion that you may equip in your machine’s Expansion slot here as well.

Unfortunately, OST chips are a one-time deal from the Arena. Youcanrepeat Arena fights, which may help you see how different mech builds play out. Additionally, since these encounters end so quickly, they’re one ofthe best ways to earn extra moneyif you need it.
Otherwise, you’ll just have to keep tinkering with your build if the game is giving you trouble. Keep advancing the story, and you’ll keep finding opportunities to earn more OST chips. Eventually, you’ll have enough to unlock a huge amount of upgrades from the OS Tuning menu. So just keep pressing on and you’ll be able to put together the build of your dreams.
