CompletingDisney Dreamlight Valley’sseasonal Star Paths requires you to take on challenges such as harvesting specific foods, finishing Dreamlight duties, andspending time with various villagers. While some are straightforward, others appear as riddles to solve. Here’s how to get some “very valuable rocks” inDisney Dreamlight Valley.

How to get some very valuable rocks inDisney Dreamlight Valley

Valuable rocks inDisney Dreamlight Valleytranslate to finding gems as you mine stones around the map. These can include gems of any rarity, including regular versions, shiny variants, or onyxes. However, the game doesn’t consider ores such as iron, copper, and gold valuable rocks, and getting these will not count toward the Star Path objective. Stone and coal also don’t count toward the task.

The easiest way to progress through this valuable rock duty is to watch for dark rocks with colored gems jutting out the sides. These guarantee you’ll receive a gem; more often than not, it’ll be a shiny mineral that’s quadruple its typical value. Otherwise, mining regular rocks can often give you onyx or regular gem variants, which still counts toward this task.

As a bonus, if you have other mining-related tasks active, likedigging for something blue, you can progress toward both in one go. Doing this requires searching for blue gems like sapphire, aquamarine, or blue zircon in Vitalys Mines, Dazzle Beach, and Rift in Time’s Lagoon region.

Once you complete this Star Path duty, you’ll receive points toward unlocking new rewards. The number of points you get from the task and the Star Path’s reward costs vary by theme. You may get five points during one Star Path, while subsequent rewards you with 10-15 or more. Similarly, while some items only cost five points, others, especially cosmetic changes for NPCs and companions, can cost up to 50 points.
