If you’ve played the firstKingdom Come: Deliverance, you may remember the Kuttenberg region. It was discussed several times during quests, but there was no way to get to it. Fortunately,KCD2finally allows you to go here, and we’re here to show you how you can unlock Kuttenberg.
How to unlock the second map in KCD2
When you first jump intoKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll get the chance to explore the expansive Trosky region, including points of interest likeTrosky Castle, Semine, and Zhelejov. You won’t have access to the second map, Kuttenberg, as it is tied to a specific quest. In particular, you mustcomplete the Storms main quest. It’ll take you quite a while to reach this point, requiring a minimum of 11 to 12 hours of gameplay with the main story. The beginning ofKCD2is a long and difficult journey, especially when you need to find a way toget into the wedding. You’ll just have to put in a lot of time and grind enough to unlock the Storms mission. Once you’ve reached this point, you’ll trigger The Sword and the Quill main quest, taking you to Suchdol village in Kuttenberg. I won’t delve into any spoilers here, but let’s just say Kuttenberg is a pretty big place. That means there will be plenty more quests to unlock, including theDancing with the Devilstoryline.
It will initially seem like you can’t return to Trosky, as you’re only presented with the Kuttenberg map. However, you can travel between the two regions using a caravan. If you’re in Kuttenberg, use the caravan in Suchdol or the one near Nebakov Fortress while in Trosky.
