Kid Dracula!

Roughly a month ago Konamiannounced theCastlevania Anniversary Collectionand gave us four of the eight games they were set to include. Now, thanks to a PlayStation Blog post, we have all of them. So, let’s get onto it!

We already knew aboutCastlevania, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, Castlevania II Belmont’s Revenge(Game Boy) andSuper Castlevania IV: but Sony has shared the last few inclusions. It seems as ifBloodlines, Kid Dracula, Castlevania the Adventure(Game Boy), andCastlevania II: Simon’s Questwill round out the collection. Hilariously the infamous latter entry was left out of the initial announcement, which had fans scratching their heads wondering whether or not we’d get the first and third games and not the second. Now a new generation can feel confused all over again.

You know Konami had to get that third one in there as soon as possible though, as it’s still one of the most belovedCastlevaniagames to date and one of the most popular to speedrun. That’s not even the tip of the iceberg though, as no one collection can do the series justice. There are so damn manyCastlevaniagames out there (even ones that can be considered “mainline entries”). Hopefully we get a Switch collection of the entire portable run starting withCircle of the Moonall the way throughOrder of Ecclesia.

Whatever the case might be in the future, thisAnniversary Collectionwill arrive on May 16 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
