Set some aliens on fire in remembrance
Yesterday,BioWare announcedCitadel, the final piece ofMass Effect 3single player DLC. It will be one of the last published works featuring actorRobin Sachs, who died earlier this month at the age of 61. Sachs lent his voice to the bounty hunter Zaeed inMass Effect 2andMass Effect 3, near the end of an acting career lasting more than forty years.
In remembrance of Sachs, BioWare has announcedOperation: Tribute, which aims to “honor and avenge our comrades who fell.” In reference to his rifle and abilities, players will receive a special commendation for playing multiplayer with weaponry similar to Zaeed’s. Operation: Tribute begins today and runs through this Sunday, February 24th.
I haven’t spent much time withMass Effect 3‘s multiplayer in a few months, but this may be reason enough for me to get back into it, if only for a weekend. Will any of you join in and pay your tribute?
