Plus a girl playing keytar on a Dance Dance Revolution machine

We’ve been following the production of Ackk Studios’ newEarthBound-inspired gameforsome time now. Today, it got a new trailer and a new name:Y2K: A Post-Modern RPG.

We get to see quite a bit of gameplay in this trailer, with turn-based combat, puzzle-solving, and exploration segments. Not to mention all the wonderful modern quirkiness, as the main character runs through record stores, pizza shops, and crazy psychedelic landscapes while wielding vinyl records, throwing cats to hit levers, and dropping pandas to activate switches. It’s shaping up to be quite a unique adventure!
