Catching up with everyone else
PC fans have been enjoying the pre-load privilege for years, but Sony and Microsoft have caught up in the past year, offering it for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms. Now Nintendo is working on updating its infrastructure with the feature, starting withSuper Smash Bros. Wii U.
If you pre-order the game digitally, you’re able to download it beforehand so that when the actual midnight launch hits, it’s playable. This is great news for the Wii U, because for some reason my downloads aremuchslower even though all of my consoles are wired — and at this point, many big Wii U games are breaking the 10GB limit.
