Here’s to another great year
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences held the 20th annual D.I.C.E. Awards last night in Las Vegas, andunlike last year, the game of the year selection isn’t bound to shock. It wasOverwatch!
Other highlights includeUncharted 4: A Thief’s EndandInside, both of which also took home multiple awards, and both of which are also generally thought of as excellent games. Even though it’s only February, I feel like I’m already so far into 2017, so it’s nice to take a moment to reflect on last year.

Game of the Year
Pokémon Sun and Moon

Outstanding Achievement in Animation
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Most of these are self-explanatory, except for the Sprite AwardInsidetook home — it’s meant to “[recognize] a game with limited resources for development and exposure (as compared to AAA titles).”
