One of the best adventure games I’ve ever played

Oxenfreeis easily one of my favorite games this year (check out my collector’s edition cooler in the header), as it feels tailor made for those who love dark ’80s adventure flicks, spooky stories, and eerie pop synth. Now the game is getting even better, or at the very least a bit longer, as developer Night School Studio has released some free story-based DLC for it.

Without spoiling anything, the DLC continues Alex’s story, featuring different locations, conclusions, and offers a tweaked understanding of the events that happened on the island in the main game.

The update runs 1.2GB on Steam, and is included in the PS4 version of the game that is coming today. The Xbox One version should also be receiving the update today as well.
