A Konami PR representative talked about the cancellation with The Asahi Shimbun. “After seeing the reaction to the videogame in the United States and hearing opinions sent through phone calls and e-mail, we decided not to sell it,” the rep said....

Legendary ex-Nintendo designer says that F-Zero isn’t dead, it just needs a ‘grand new idea’

He also praises F-Zero GX like a champion Every few months the specter ofF-Zerorises again. It’s been a really long time (around 16 years)! And I’m kind of shocked that Nintendo hasn’t dug up its corpse to shamble it along as a mobile game of some sort with a subscription service, microtransactions, and loot boxes for outfits. Damn! I think I just gave an executive the ammo he needed to make this a reality....

The presentation saw the reveal of several new projects, including an anime anda free-to-play mobile title. For most fans, however, the best news comes in the slightest form: the announcement of a newManatitle in development for console platforms. Unfortunately, there was pretty much nothing in regards to detail, merely that a game is being made, and is being made for consoles… I guess it’s better than nothing....

Ready or Not reveals the new Dark Waters DLC, due to launch very soon

ThoughReady or Notisn’t exactly the perfectSWAT 4follow-up we all deserve, it sure as heck is a great game in its own right, and it’s about to get a big new expansion pack very soon. The newDark WatersDLC features off-shore oil rigs and yachts, notably. As a follow-up tothe poorly-receivedHome InvasionDLC,Dark Watersneeds to step up its game and deliver a compelling set of missions and goodies. This expansion packfollows the broad precedent set by its predecessor with content structuring, though I do think this pack will be a fair bit more interesting....

Ruins of Eridu location & directions Diablo 4

A once-mighty fortress consumed by the swamp The Ruins of Eridu can be a solid dungeon for farming inDiablo 4.It’s a very easy dungeon to complete and has a final boss that has few mechanics and is killed with ease. The generated layout of the dungeon can be a bit tedious, and the objectives often require a little bit of backtracking. Even so,some still prefer to farm this dungeon because the final boss is a real pushover....

RuneScape: Dragonwilds’ random events are like a toxic roommate who won’t let you have a moment to yourself

Picture this: You’re chilling in your cozy base, crafting away, and feeling pretty good. You step away for a snack. You come back, and boom—your base is toast. That’s been myRuneScape: Dragonwildsexperience with the game’s many random events, and it’s become an absolute thorn in my side. But honestly? Part of me loves it for the chaos. The random events come in two primary forms: one involves a dragon that suddenly appears in the sky, while the other brings a horde of goblins charging in....

Street Fighter 6 official theme song: ‘Not On The Sidelines’

It’s no ‘Indestructible’, but then nothing is Music has always been an important part of fighting games — from setting the tone, to providing the backbeat of the fight, to being dynamically controlled by the in-game action, perhaps best realized in the excellent 2012 fighter,Killer Instinct. And so, the reveal of a new fighting title’s theme song is something of a big deal, as it often reflects the entire vibe and aesthetic that will form the core of the game’s mood....
