Announced during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase for E3 2021,Contrabandis an open-world co-op game from Avalanche Studios coming to PC and Xbox Series X/S. Dead or Alive 5 headed to PC but it won’t have online at launch

Armageddon It’s great to see a series likeDead or Alivefinallycome to PC. Less great, however, is that“Online modes forDead or Alive 5 Last Roundwill be added in a patch within three months of release.” I suppose it comes down to which we would prefer: getting the feature-incomplete game on February 17 alongside the console versions, or having the PC port arrive later with online enabled from day one. Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja thought the former option was the way to go, clearly....

Dead Space games 75% off in Steam’s Midweek Madness

Steam has kicked off their Midweek Madness promotion and you can grab some decent deals. The biggest price slash is forDead SpaceandDead Space 2, priced at just$4.99 each. I played the hell out of the first and went through the second a couple of times as well and would consider this to be a pretty easy suggestion for folks to follow through on....

Closing out the Latin American Games Showcase was an impressive new trailer for the gorgeous pixel-art hack-and-slash Mariachi Legends, with a mixture of live-action scenes and high-fidelity side-scrolling action. Let’s face it, with over a dozen unique showcases over the span of a few days, it is unlikely most audiences will catch them all, particularly when the shows are each focused on a specific niche....

End of the Mine Kickstarter looks like a creepy good time

Dig deep “End of the mine” sounds like something an ’80s beefcake action star would say before tossing a vaguely European villain into a mine shaft for trying to steal bearer bonds or something. But, it’s actually a new game onKickstarter. The 2D action-shooter is all about spelunking through creepy alien mines, shooting bizarre enemies, and finding weird items. Normally I don’t check out too many Kickstarters. We get emails everyday from different campaigns asking for coverage and trying to pick and choose between them starts to feel a little arbitrary....

There’s tons of useless junk too A number of people have asked me how all of the DLC forBatman: Arkham Knighthas measured up since the Season Pass is done.
