Yes, it has the sweet roll For those of you who don’t know I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Over the years I’ve developed a lot of personal recipes, including a mean garlic butter seared salmon with Dijon mayonnaise that I like to make for my wife. I’m also in the process of picking up peppers to grow for my future hot sauce idea. I’ve met a lot of fellow chef Dtoiders since I’ve been here, so whenever I see a gaming related cooking opportunity I jumped on it....

For those unaware, that was the version of the game which included all of the DLC and was essentially a “Game of the Year” re-release. …wait, who’s Black Widow Company? PlanetSide 2has a new trailer today, and it’s all aboutBlack Widow Company. Who are they? Beats me, but they sure do know how to put on a show. I can’t really tell what was going on in the video most of the time, but whatever it was, it wasawesome. I really am a sucker for tanks, flying vehicles, and explosions. I still haven’t had the opportunity to check outPlanetSide 2‘s beta for myself yet, but I’ve only heard amazing things the past few months....

But I’ve been let down by silly AI before I’ve been out of the game for long enough thatCall of Duty: Ghosts‘ Squads sounds appealing. Not to the point where I’m as enthusiastic as this announcer guy, but you get the point. Squads is a set of modes centered around soldiers you build out and can then play alongside. They’ll be represented as AI-controlled bots and, in theory, are supposed to behave appropriately for the loadout you’ve given them....

Electronic Arts has revealed thatDead Space 3has pulled in five times as many pre-orders asDead Space 2. The company is using the data to justify the controversial new co-op mode, claiming that the feature has helped drive consumer interest. “We believe the new co-op gameplay feature is attracting a lot of attention and a broader audience,” boasted EA Labels president Frank Gibeau. EA’s goal all along was to makeDead Spaceappeal to a “broader audience,”and it seems to be going well....

We knew that a Vita version ofStreet Fighter x Tekkenwas definitely possible after seeing Capcom’s work onUltimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, but how well will the two versions work together in cross play? Beautifully. Well, at least on the same network. I went hands-on with both the Vita and PS3 versions to test it out, and from what I could tell, the action was perfectly synced. Playing the Vita version, I held it up in front of the television displaying the PS3 session for a bit and noticed no difference; it was a frame-to-frame match....

I’m not surprised that these two are at the top of the heap at any time, but 75% in the third quarter? That’s not even the holiday season! A whopping 75% PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 release in the third quarter of this year will come from Activision Blizzard and Electronic Arts, says a new Research and Markets report. That’s 21 titles for EA and 19 for Activision. They say that the reason for this is that both of these software giants are actually loading up in both the third and fourth quarter, while most other companies hold the good stuff unti the fourth for the holiday season....
