Season V details to be revealed later this summer Capcomhas revealed plansto release one final season of DLC content forStreet Fighter V: Champion Edition. “Season V” will add five more characters and three new stages to the developer’s flagship fighter, adding to its now expansive roster. No details pertaining to the new content were released or even teased, with the developer/publisher simply stating that more will be revealed late summer. This would suggest that Season V – as with previous seasons – will likely kick off at the start of the new year, givingStreet Fighter Va final burst of adrenaline as the title enters its fifth year of knock-down, drag-out action....

All because of Lucky Chloe (possibly) Tekkendirector Katsuhiro Harada took to Twitter to proudly announce that the latest installment in the series,Tekken 7, has sold over two million copies since its release in June until September. Whilst Harada’s figure was a reply to a fan asking how many copies had been sold “on console” it is unclear whether Harada was including the game’s PC sales figures, which are some 300,000 copies in and of themselves, a solid number for the series’ PC debut....

Iiiiiiiiiiiit’s been… Mario Party 1and2came and went late last yearon the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack service, and since then, things have been a bit…slow going. As a reader pointed out to me this past weekend, that prior dual release was on August 05, 2025: 82 days ago as of the time of publication. There are a few games that are currently announced and will be coming out this year, but we don’t have release dates for any of them....

Two of the cancelations were unannounced games It’s a light year for Ubisoft, and the publisher’s future lineup just got lighter. As disclosed during the company’sQ1 fiscal 2022-23 earnings report, Ubisoft has decided to cancel four upcoming games, includingSplinter Cell VRandGhost Recon Frontline. This year’sAvatargame, meanwhile,was delayed— it’s now aiming for fiscal year 2023. As reported by Axios’ Stephen Totilo, Ubisoft told investors that it canceled the development ofSplinter Cell VR,Ghost Recon Frontline, and two unannounced games....

Velocitea Jasmine My eyes, bigger than my stomach, may be greenly set onEurope’s amazing May showing for PlayStation Plus, but we are still in April, month of my birth (amen). And so tomorrow, April 29,Velocity Ultrawill join the ranks of games I “buy” (for $0) through Sony’s web portal — you don’t even have to turn your game system on — and never play while I continue to happily give Sony however much a month PlayStation Plus costs....

SPOGS Racing(D2C Games™, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone—Mild Cartoon Violence, 1,000 Wii Points) looks like it could be a fun game, but the name is positively God-awful. “Sir, I’m sorry to have to inform you, but you’ve contracted SPOGS and will soon experience genital decay.” Ugh — it makes me want to scrub myself down with lye. Anyway, play the game and try not to think about venereal diseases....
