Tekken 7 pops an impressive 2 million sales in three months

All because of Lucky Chloe (possibly) Tekkendirector Katsuhiro Harada took to Twitter to proudly announce that the latest installment in the series,Tekken 7, has sold over two million copies since its release in June until September. Whilst Harada’s figure was a reply to a fan asking how many copies had been sold “on console” it is unclear whether Harada was including the game’s PC sales figures, which are some 300,000 copies in and of themselves, a solid number for the series’ PC debut....

The pros and cons of releasing Smash 3DS before Smash Wii U

Is it a silver cloud (suit) with dark(nut) lining? When I first heard that the 3DS version ofthe nextSmash Bros.was releasing monthsbefore the Wii U edition, my immediate feeling was confusion, which inspired the thought, “Nintendo, are you trying to kill the Wii U?” The game looks so good on the 3DS that it’s already got potential to eat into the Wii U game’s sales. Now that it’s releasing first, is there any question that the home console version sales are going to suffer?...

This cartoon nicely sums up how crazy getting to Goron City is in Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The first time I did it, pre-launch, I ran in like this I playedZelda: Breath of the Wildthe same way I’ve played everySoulsgame sinceDemon’s— pre-launch, without guides or outside contact. Exploring Hyrule knowing absolutely nothing about the game (and with minimal trailer viewing) was a treat, and folks have been chronicling those surprises for the past few months in great detail. One such misadventure involves Goron City, infamously hidden inside of a mountain full of molten lava and absurd temperatures....

SPOGS Racing(D2C Games™, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone—Mild Cartoon Violence, 1,000 Wii Points) looks like it could be a fun game, but the name is positively God-awful. “Sir, I’m sorry to have to inform you, but you’ve contracted SPOGS and will soon experience genital decay.” Ugh — it makes me want to scrub myself down with lye.
