How many views, though?
Sonyhas announced that 6.5 million shareshave been captured by way of the PlayStation 4’s share functionality. The button allows players to instantly share screenshots and videos by way of the PS4’s interface, and stream to Ustream and Twitch. No data was given as to how many people actuallyviewedthis media however.
The share button is a bit of an odd feature for me. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I never really feel compelled to use it. Unlike an old fashioned capture method where I can manipulate the data any way I wish (with a much higher resolution), the PS4’s share functionality is fragmented, and can only be uploaded to certain areas of the web. Once YouTube support is added I may be more enticed.
