I’ll sneak this one in and hope the Chief doesn’t notice that it’s a day late.
There’s only one game in the PlayStation Network update for this week, and that game is the insane human slingshotting titlePain. For only $9.99, you can fire humans at buildings, cars, and even explosives. This wacky game is a blast and a great stress reliever.

What this week lacks in games is made up for in downloadable content. Spend your hard earned Christmas dollars on the full expansion toThe Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Shivering Isles, which weighs in at 1.20GB and $29.99. Penny pinchers can pick from severalRock Bandsongs ($1.99), aResistance: FOM: Map Pack 2($4.99), or theMotorStorm Vehicle and Skin Pack($1.99). If things are really tight this holiday, there’s always the completely freeGuitar Heroes III: Boss Battle Track Pack. The 77mb download contains songs like “Devil Went Down to Georgia” by The Charlie Daniels Band. Woo.
As always, there’s a pile of videos to download, though this week’s pile is much smaller thanlast week’s.

Lastly, enjoy several free wallpapers fromPain, Aquatopia, andResistance: Fall of Man.
