Owlchemy Labs hits $40,000 Kickstarter goal

Just about a month ago we got our first look atDyscourse, which has not only a distinctive art style but also a pitch that could potentially demonstrate the strengths of interactive narratives over the more linear stories that most games, books, and movies can provide. Having branching paths with truly unique consequences and important decisions is a tall order, but Owlchemy Labs made its case well on whyDyscourseshould be able to pull it off.

Those anxious about whether the title would see funding can breathe a sigh of relief now;Dyscoursemet its funding goalwith a day to spare in the campaign. With the game funded, we can expect to see theIndie Plane Crashbonus story as well, without us having to help hit a stretch goal or pay extra for the content.
