In an interview withMTV.com, Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime offers up some interesting tidbits about the near (and not so near) future of the Wii console. Highlights include:

On online play:Fils-Aime repeats once again (much to the dismay of many) that the first online Wii title will bePokémon Battle Revolution… inJapan. He pegs “very early 2007” as when the company will be on board with online play in other regions.
