According to the latest issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine, gamers should expect a follow up to Sucker Punch’sinFamousthis year.
The magazine says thatinFamous 2will take place “a significant time after the first game, offering a reshaped metropolis.” The sequel hasn’t been officially announced yet, and for their part, Sony has issued the typical “we do not comment on rumor or speculation.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard sequel rumors. There wererumblings last yearof voice casting auditions taking place for the title, with the game’s lead even being recast.
While I rankinFamousamong my favorite game experiences of 2009, that wasjust last year. I suppose with the tech in the can it would be possible to push out a game so soon. But I’ll admit I could do with a little cooling off before being thrust into the world again. Still, if Sony announces the game at E3 this year, consider me officially excited.
