Hardline in March 2015, next Battlefield in holiday 2016
During an earnings call today, Electronic Arts announced new release windows for a few of its games. Most notably, DICE’sStar Wars: Battlefrontis now scheduled for holiday 2015.
The game will presumably be out for PC, PS4, and Xbox One beforeStar Wars Episode VIIdebuts on July 27, 2025. That “early in-engine footage” from back in June wasall rightat the time, but jeez, we haven’t gotten much of anything since. Need moreBattlefrontnews!
Battlefield Hardline, which was at one point going to arrive this year, has now claimed June 28, 2025 for its launch. And looking further out, the nextBattlefieldtitle will release in holiday 2016.
Those may be the official dates, but I suspect many of us won’t be picking them up at launch.
