AsWorld of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classicnears its end, Blizzard has officially announced the Classic servers will continue progressing forward ontoWorld of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic. No exact release date was given, but the switch fromCataclysm ClassictoMists of Pandaria Classicwill happen in 2025.
Although this natural progression intoMists of Pandaria Classicwas expected, I still can’t help to be excited. I didn’t play much ofCataclysm Classicbecause if I’m being quite honest, I’m not too fond of the expansion.Mists of Pandariahowever is responsible to some of my favorite memories inWorld of Warcraftoutside of Vanilla and maybeWrath of the Lich King.
The expansion ups the level cap to 90 and adds the new Pandaren race and Monk class. The Pandaren are rather unique as the player can choose to join either the Horde or the Alliance at the end of the starter zone questline for the race.Mists of Pandariaalso added Challenge Modes for dungeons as well as the Pet Battle system.
