Tantalus Media makes mostly portable and licensed titles these days (tryCars 2: Mater-national Championshipfor the Game Boy Advance), but their40+ game historyhad them working on bigger stuff in the past for consoles, likeWipeout 2097for the Saturn, orArea 51on the PlayStation. And now it seems that they’re working on something bigger yet again, this time for the Wii U.
The LinkedIn account of programmerGraeme Webbrevealed that Tantalus has been working on a port of an unannounced “AAA” Wii U title. Webb was the engine programmer on this title at their Melbourne office this past two months.

AsNotenoughshaderspoints out, this title began development this June. This information goes right along with the recruiting page for the studio, as it teases “an exciting Next-Gen AAA title.” They’re hiring for help on this game right now.
Let’s hope that this is something bigger than a port of a licensed game.
