Something unusual is happening with Alice duringDisney Dreamlight Valley’sFractured Glass quest. While nothing about her and the Cheshire Cat’s storyline is normal, things are especially wacky, with Alice’s personality suddenly becoming more bubbly and excitable.

Although being happy is a good thing under normal circumstances, there’s more to this than what’s appearing on the surface. Your character catches on to this quickly, questioning why Alice is behaving differently from usual. Fortunately, there are solutions to every issue inDisney Dreamlight Valley’sworld.

As you talk to her during the quest’s introduction, you’ll notice she’s much happier than usual, with zero regard for Olaf accidentally dropping his trivia book in the mud. She mentions Mother Gothel and Scrooge McDuck along the way, prompting you to seek the three out to learn more about the situation.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Olaf talking about Alice

Talk to Scrooge, Mother Gothel, and Olaf

After your initial conversation with Alice, you decide to find Scrooge, Mother Gothel, and Olaf in hopes of determining this shift in personality. You’ll need to speak to all three characters before proceeding with the rest of the quest.

Each character will give three perspectives on Alice’s behavior. While Mother Gothel thinks it’s great, Scrooge explains that Alice tried on his brand new merchandise clothing before tossing everything into a pile on the floor. Olaf’s situation with the trivia book was a complete accident, resulting in Alice’s strange reaction to his predicament.

Teapot Alice in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Searching Alice’s house for clues

While this information helps you understand the situation better, it doesn’t solve the problem. For that, we’ll need to head to Alice’s house to look for clues. You’ll quickly notice that this entire house is fun, cheerful, and colorful, but one thing brings down the mood: a Sad Alice in a teapot.

Next to the couch inside Alice’s house is a tiny version of herself hiding in a teapot. Yes, there are two Alices in the village now. She explains that she only feels sadness and doesn’t wish to talk much. More confused than ever, your character decides to go out and find Happy Alice to see what’s going on.

How to make banana, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream

Although Happy Alice doesn’t want to spend much time helping Sad Alice, she reveals the secret to making herself happier: ice cream. Your next task is to make banana, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. Here’s a complete list of their recipes:

The easiest two ingredients to obtain are milk and slush ice, as they’re both available for sale in the Chez Remy kitchen shop. Sugarcane and bananas can be obtained from Dazzle Beach, while cocoa beans and vanilla come from the Sunlit Plateau.

Disney Dreamlight Valley trash piles in Scrooge’s shop

With all three ice cream dishes on hand, return to Alice’s house to gift it to Sad Alice. She’ll grow in size slightly before explaining the situation in detail. Turns out, the Kaleidoscope fromMimsy Were the Borogovesis the source of this problem. However, before we tackle that situation, we’ll need to visit a few NPCs.

Repairing Scrooge’s broken merchandise

Our first stop after making this revelation is Scrooge McDuck’s shop. You’ll immediately notice Alice’s destructive powers, with several piles of trash scattered around. This is eerily similar to the mess the Cheshire Cat makes duringMannequin Madness. Surprisingly, these situations are unrelated to one another.

Unfortunately, it’s our job to clean these trash piles now. Clear everything away before talking to Scrooge again. He’ll show remorse for what he said to Alice, vowing to apologize later in this quest. In the meantime, have a quick chat with Merlin to get some advice on how to help Alice. Although he has no magic spells, he offers some advice. It’s time to look for some flowers.
