I know we’re all excited about playingGTA 6—I definitely am, too—but people really need to stop making fake stuff about the game.
A new post on Reddit, shared by an Argentinian user, shows what might be one of the worst fakeGTA 6ads yet. It’s also one of the funniest, and honestly, I’d love to see it in action. And that’s after already coming acrossa fakeGTA 6guidebook I boughtthat was filled with AI-generated nonsense.

The post, made in the Argentinian Gaming subreddit, shows a store window with aGTA 6poster on it. At first glance, it looks like just another promotional image using Rockstar’s official artwork. But then you notice something strange—it has the PlayStation 2 banner across the top, the same one that used to be on PS2 game covers back in the day as ifGTA 6were actually a PS2 release.
Obviously, this is completely fake—GTA 6would never run on a PS2. If someone even tried, the console would probably melt in five seconds from the sheer effort. The PS2 just doesn’t have anywhere near the power to handle a game like this.

More likely, this is just a fan-made mod or a hack ofGTA San AndreasorGTA Vice City, where someone reworked the map and the characters, or maybe even added Lucia as a playable option. you may actually find many mods of this kind online.
Of course, this is piracy, plain and simple, so it’s probably best if this store doesn’t get too much attention if they’re distributing it. That said, it’s still funny to imagine aGTA 6PS2 edition and how ridiculous it would be.

GTA 6 is restricted to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
As of now,GTA 6is officially set to release in Fall 2025on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has confirmed these platforms on its website, butaGTA 6PC versionwill likely come later, as has been the case with previous GTA games.
As for Nintendo, there’s almost no chance we’ll seeGTA 6on the Switch or Switch 2. SinceGTA 5was never released on the original Switch, it’s unlikely that Rockstar will bringGTA 6to a Nintendo console anytime soon, especially given Nintendo’s focus on more family-friendly games.
