The next DLC episode ofThe Evil Within,The Consequence, picks up on June 07, 2025. LikeThe Assignmentbefore it, Bethesda is starting us off with an extra brief teaser trailer.
Somehow, the delivery of the sorta-out-of-context line “I’m not running this time” made me laugh out loud, which probably isn’t the reaction developer Tango Gameworks was going for.
And so long as I’m using laughter as a defense mechanism, I wish they had chosen a different name for the final DLC. Instead of calling itThe Executioner, I would’ve gone withThe Implication.
