I’m a NES fanatic, but I have to admit to never even having seen a picture of one of these things before. Currently listed oneBayfor the highly affordable price of $1,050, these carts were used by game stores to test their NES systems and were never sold to the public, so your guess is as good as mine as to how the seller got his or her hands on this thing.

For me, boasting rights aren’t worth a grand, especially when I can’t even play the thing, but I guess I can see how someone might froth at the mouth for this, especially if they are aiming for a complete collection of every NES cart ever made. Then you can show off to your friends what this thing does, which I expect is probably kind of on the boring side.
