All Warzone Season 5 changes
If you’ve been keeping up with theWarzoneuniverse, you’ll likely have heard about the thrilling addition of the newSuperstore POIfor the Urzikstan map. This place will be your one-stop shop for everything, perfect for looters. And the new Superstore Resurgence mode, set in this bustling location, promises to bring mayhem and excitement throughout the supermarket.
Besides the POI,WarzoneRewards has been updatedwith new content, including exclusive weapon camos. Participate in the four challenge categories: Combat Expertise, Cooperation, Mobility, and Redacted, featuring 16 additional challenges. Anyone who completes them all earns their claim to the Sports Icon weapon blueprint.
One of the most notable UI/UX changes forWarzone Season 5is thefix for gas mask overlays. This mechanic previously impacted a player’s vision whenever it was equipped. With this patch, the overlay will fade in and out smoothly, giving you the power to equip it anytime.
Various weapons changes have either nerfed or buffed performances. For example, the Holger 26 has been nerfed by decreasing the Lower Torso Modifier to 1x. This change was due to the gun “overperforming,” and it should now be easier to aim with this update.The Sledgehammer’smovement speed, including its heavy swing range, has also decreased to keep it more balanced.

We’re happy with the current challenge but we wanted to create more gunfights around the nuke itself. We’ve noticed a lot of nukes were planted with few squads remaining and/or in final circles. That was never the intent and hopefully these timer reductions will keep the challenge difficult and make the ending more exciting!

Ranked Play competitors can also earn the Skill Division Operator Skin sets for use with both the CDL Male and Female Operators (for both factions) to represent your highest Skill Division obtained above Gold.
