Grandma Shirley, aka Shirley Curry, is a 79-year-old grandmother who “just had a beast of a gaming computer built,” allowing her to “play like a Boss! LOL” according to her description on herYouTube channel. Shirley’s first let’s play ofThe Elder Scrolls: Skyrimwent live yesterday and has taken the Internet by storm, already racking up nearly 150,000 views.
What is Shirley’s reasoning behind starting to make let’s plays? “I want to start a blog for older gamers, like myself,” Shirley says, “because I feel we are not represented enough on YouTube.”
