Love it or loathe it, the7th Generationof gaming has certainly been a memorable one. When I look back 20 years from now, I think I will remember this, fondly, as the generation that finally got me into online multiplayer. Sure, I played my fair share of multiplayer games back in college —Quake III: Arena,Unreal Tournament,Counter-Strike(back when it was just a mod), etc. — but it wasn’t until I got involved with Destructoid’sFriday Night FightsXbox 360 crew that Ireallygot into it, and I haven’t looked back since.

What about the rest of you? What willyouremember most as you enter the 8th Generation and beyond? On-disc DLC or the rise of indie? Plastic instruments and waggling, or the generation that brought us some of the most complex and “hardcore” games in a decade?
Achievements?!
