I love Rita Repulsa. I don’t give a shit aboutMighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. No disrespect to the show, it just arrived in the UK after my time, but Rita is a great villain, she reminds me of all those great female villains that host classic Japanese sci-fi such asX-Bomber’sCommander MakaraandInfra Man’samazingPrincess Dragon Mom.
Still, there’s no sign so far of Ms. Repulsa in nWay’sPower Rangers: Battle for the Grid, which is a game I’ve been checking out this week. We have Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger and that blue dog guy with the gold armour. But no Rita Repulsa, not even the Elizabeth Banks version! What a swizz!
